Podcast Manager 1.8.3 has been released today and is now available for download. This is a maintenance release of the 1.8.x branch and contains several small bug fixes.
Changes since 1.8.2
Primary development has been focused on the forthcoming 2.0 release, of which an Alpha release was made a couple of weeks ago. Several bugs have been resolved in the 2.0 branch and since development on 2.0 has taken much longer than anticipated, those bug fixes have been backported to the 1.8 branch. This includes a fix for the often reported RSS validation errors. A partial change list includes:
- Bug Fixes
- Fixing RSS Validation errors
- Remove the <description> tag from the podcast items
- Fix PHP errors with the Feed Listing view
- Revised implementation of filter on front end Feed Listing view
- New Features
- Update LiveUpdate to 1.1
