Podcast Manager 1.6.1 has been released today and is now available for download. This update contains security fixes, bug fixes and new features.
Changes since 1.6.0
This release is a rapid release intended to clear up some PHP errors due to the execution method of the content plugin. The plugin catches multiple bits of data and previously tried to process all of them. The plugin has been modified to only run once with the required data. As well, a PHP Strict message in the edit form has been cleared.
Support for displaying multiple podcast episodes in a single article has also been introduced for this version.
While testing the multiple podcast feature, a bug was found in the PHP function that handles the replacement in that if there is a slash (/) in the text to be searched, the function uses the next character as a modifier to the function. Therefore, using slashes in your podcast episode's title will cause this function to fail, even though the content plugin properly prepares the data for the replacement.
Lastly, security fixes that were fixed with the Joomla! 1.6.2 release have been applied.
