Extension Updates

Tweet Display Back 2.0 Stable Released

Today, Tweet Display Back 2.0 has been released.

Tweet Display Back 2.0 introduces several optimizations in code processing as well as new features. The biggest new feature is the ability to filter tweets; users are able to select whether to display @replies and @mentions in their rendered output. Additional to this new feature, tweet entities are now pulled with each tweet, allowing additional data to be processed by the module, including native Twitter media once it has been fully implemented. Using entities has allowed several optimizations in the output, specifically in the link rendering for URLs, @users, and #tags. Finally, additional language optimizations have been made to further enhance international translation capabilities.

This release would not include the features or translations that it does without the support of the contributors. I'd like to thank Jurian Even for assisting with code development and Manoel Silva, JOKR Solutions, Jurian Even, and Benjamin Ash for providing translations for distribution with the module.

Documentation & Support

As always, further information about the module is available in the Tweet Display Back section of the site, including information about the module's parameters, available translations, FAQ's, and more! Be sure to check out the newly posted Tutorials as well with tips on optimizing your module configuration and customizing the module's templates.

The graphic below shows the information concerning the status of translations as of the time the release was prepared for distribution.  If you would like to update an existing translation or add a new translation, you may do so by visiting the project page on Transifex.
